🚛 Truck It Driffield 2026: Our First Weekend at the Show
Updated: Aug 18

Friday 14th – Sunday 16th August 2026
Our first Truck It Driffield is officially in the books… and what a weekend it was. 👀🚛
We arrived on Friday with the caravan, ready for two nights surrounded by trucks, friends, families and the wider haulage community.
We didn't have an Our Haul Co stall this time.
But that definitely didn't mean OHC wasn't there. 🧡
We arrived with our OHC clothing on, our products in use, 500 stickers, plenty of leaflets and one very excited little co-driver ready to help us spread the word.
And by Sunday, we were heading home tired, slightly sunburnt, a little bit battered… but incredibly grateful.
🚛 Our first Truck It Driffield
Having been to Truckfest Lincoln earlier in the year, we knew a little bit about what to expect from a truck show — but Driffield was a completely different experience.
Truck It isn't Truckfest. It's a different scale, a different atmosphere and a much smaller event, but that was part of what made it so enjoyable for us.
We got the chance to actually stop, chat and meet people.
And that's always our favourite part.
The trucks are amazing, of course, but it's the people behind them that make these weekends what they are.
We went along with the Oliver Thomas Transport family and fleet, as we always do, and once again they made the weekend what it was. There's something about being surrounded by people who know the haulage life that makes a weekend like this feel less like an event and more like a proper family get-together.
We're incredibly grateful to Oliver Thomas Transport for continuing to let us come along and be part of the fleet. 🧡
😂 Twenty minutes in… and Maryellen was already injured
We'd been at Driffield for approximately 20 minutes.
Twenty.
And Maryellen had already managed to injure herself.
In an attempt to be helpful, she decided to open the back doors of the Euroliner trailer.
Unfortunately, the doors have a correct order in which they need to be opened.
Maryellen did not follow said order. 😂
Too much pressure built up and, when the handle finally gave way, it came flying open at full force… directly into her face.
Result?
One very bruised and cut lip.
And that was Maryellen's face for the entire weekend. 🤣
Thankfully, Scott from Humber Training & Driver Solutions came to the rescue with some first aid and, more importantly, continued checking in on her throughout both days of the show.
So a massive thank you to Scott for looking after us — and for making sure Maryellen survived the weekend!
We may have arrived representing Our Haul Co…
But apparently we also arrived representing the world's least graceful trailer-door operator. 😂
🧡 Our little co-driver stole the show
Meanwhile, Rupert was having an absolutely brilliant time.
Four years old, surrounded by trucks and apparently completely convinced that the entire show belonged to him.
Between driving around in his little rig, handing out OHC stickers and leaflets and generally making himself known, he was absolutely in his element.
And of course, he was doing it all in his Our Haul Co gear. 🚛
From his Little Haulier tee to his Haulier in Training hoodie and his OHC drink bottle, Rupert was probably our smallest — and most enthusiastic — brand ambassador of the weekend.
We also had Ethan, Alfie and Ollie helping with the sticker and leaflet mission, which meant the OHC crew quickly became a proper little team.
And they took the job VERY seriously. 😂
👕 OHC in the wild

One of the things we really wanted to do at Driffield was simply wear our brand and live it.
That's something that matters to us.
Our Haul Co wasn't created by people looking in from the outside and deciding that trucks looked cool.
It's been created from the life we actually live.
Sam was out there wearing his OHC hoodie.
Maryellen was wearing our Life's a Haul women's tee and hoodie.
Rupert was proudly sporting his Haulier in Training and Little Haulier pieces.
And our products weren't just being displayed — they were being used as part of our everyday weekend.
That's exactly what we want OHC to be.
Products that genuinely belong in the haulage lifestyle.

🚛 From 500 stickers… to truck doors and toilet doors 😂
We took 500 OHC stickers with us.
And we reckon at least half of them found new homes over the weekend!
Seeing people take them, put them on their trucks and walk away with something carrying our logo was honestly such a brilliant feeling.
We even had a young truck spotter get in touch with us afterwards to show us that he'd added his OHC sticker to his collection.
And then there was the slightly unexpected sticker placement…
At one point we went to the communal toilets and discovered someone had stuck one of our leaflets on each of the toilet doors, complete with an OHC sticker. 😂
We're not entirely sure this was the marketing strategy we had in mind…
But we'll take it. 🤣
👋 The people behind the community
We had so many lovely conversations throughout the weekend.
Some people already knew who we were from seeing Our Haul Co online, which was honestly such a surreal feeling.
A few people came over specifically because they'd seen us on social media, and we were complimented on something that means a huge amount to us:
The fact that we're genuinely a trucking family.
That is our biggest reason for doing what we do.
We're not just trying to make trucking-themed products.
We're a trucker, his wife and their little co-driver, living the life that inspired the business.
And when other people within the industry recognise that, it means more than we can really put into words.
We also caught up with Nikki from Royal Touch and exchanged leaflets, as well as having a lovely chat and making another connection within the community.
These conversations are the things we take home with us.
🥹 And then came a very unexpected surprise...
One of the biggest highlights of the weekend actually came from someone who had come to the show as a stall holder.
Lucy and her husband came over to find us…
And they had brought us a gift.
A cushion with the Our Haul Co logo embroidered onto it.
Honestly?
We were completely blown away.
It wasn't something we expected.
It wasn't something they needed to do.
It was simply an incredibly thoughtful gesture from someone who wanted to support what we're building.
And moments like that are exactly why the haulage community means so much to us.
We genuinely feel incredibly lucky to be welcomed into it.
We'll definitely be sharing more about that gift very soon… 👀🧡
📈 A few little OHC wins
We didn't go to Driffield expecting to make sales.
Our main aim was to be there, meet people, have conversations and become more involved in the community that Our Haul Co was built from.
But we did come home with a few lovely little wins.
🧡 2 website orders came through during the weekend.
🧡 4 new Our Haul Co Family subscribers joined us.
🧡 Hundreds of stickers and leaflets went out into the community.
🧡 And lots of new conversations and connections started.
They might look like small numbers to some businesses.
For us, they're huge.
Every order, every new follower, every person who takes a sticker and every person who stops for a chat is another little reminder that people are starting to understand what OHC is all about.
🚛 How far we've come since Lincoln
It's hard to believe how much has changed since our first big truck show experience at Truckfest Lincoln back in May.
At Lincoln, we were still selling through Etsy.
Now we have our own Our Haul Co website.
We've grown our social media community to over 430 Facebook followers, more than 70 on Instagram and over 240 on TikTok.
And our TikTok has been growing particularly quickly — we started this week at around 112 followers and have more than doubled that in just seven days.
We've also partnered with Trucks Magazine, continued building relationships within the haulage community and have had new businesses and creators reaching out to us.
And while we're still a very young business, we're starting to see the foundations of something much bigger taking shape.
Not to mention that we have over 240 available products!!
👀 So… what's next?
Well.
We have ideas.
Lots of them. 😂
We're already thinking about new products, more personalised options, future collaborations and, of course, more truck shows.
And who knows…
Maybe next time we head to Driffield, Our Haul Co might have a stall of its own. 👀
We're not making any promises just yet.
But…
Watch this space. 🚛🧡
🧡 From our family to yours
At the end of the day, Driffield reminded us of something we already knew.
Our Haul Co isn't really about selling clothes.
It's about the life behind them.
It's Sam's life on the road.
It's Rupert growing up around trucks.
It's family weekends spent at shows.
It's caravan trips.
It's the people we meet.
It's the drivers who spend their weeks away from home.
It's the families waiting for them to come back.
It's the little co-drivers who think trucks are the coolest things in the world.
And it's the community that has welcomed three people with a little idea and allowed us to start becoming part of something much bigger.
So to everyone who:
Stopped to say hello.
Took a sticker.
Grabbed a leaflet.
Followed us.
Placed an order.
Shared our content.
Complimented the brand.
Or simply supported us from afar…
Thank you.
We came to Driffield for a weekend.
We came home with memories, new friendships, new ideas and even more excitement for what's ahead.
This haul is only just getting started. 🚛🧡
